Ireland Taking Aim at Hoons?

mod_manta.jpg

Ireland’s AA is criticizing the government’s plan to crack down on modified cars beginning in January, saying that a car’s appearance isn’t a direct reflection of the way a driver behaves. The ban affects “unauthorized modifications,” (we’d appreciate commenter mojo’s input here as to what these mods may be), although loud exhaust is specifically mentioned as being verboten. Man, no legal abortion, no divorce, no smoking in bars and now no modified cars Why the hell do we love that country so much, anyway
