With more than $2.5 million households subscribing to satellite radio the tide might be ready to turn for the fledgling media. It's been years since the industry thought there would be a heated battle between XM and Sirius for the future of radio. It turned out that battle would be a long protracted one. Subscribers have slowly been turned on to the beauty of no commercials and hundreds of choices. But what's even more interesting is that personalities like Howard Stern are contemplating moving to satellite since there isn't any pesky FCC to levy outrageous fines. Perhaps the King of all Media will give a boost to the latest trend.
